  • From July, 2018.  Consultant Curatorial Services Project Officer, Eureka Centre, City of Ballarat. Exhibition and collection management services.
  • September, 2017 to July, 2018.  Historical Archives Project Officer, City of Ballarat.  Sorting, cleaning, identifying and documenting City of Ballarat archival records at the Town Hall for potential trasfer to the Public Record Office of Victoria.
  • September, 2016 to August, 2017  Consultant Curator, Historical Collections Project, City of Ballarat. Reviewing, documenting, cataloguing and providing collection management services for the council's historical collection. 
  • February, 2017 to present; Curatorial and collection mangement services, Vintage and Classic Car Club of Ballarat.

  • Object Identification Bibliography Project - Researching references for identifying museum objects found in regional and community history museums
  • James Yeomans Dixon Letters - Transcribing the letters written by and researching the story of Jim Dixon, who died in 1940 with the sinking of the Rangitane off the coast of New Zealand during World War 2.

  • Manage team of five staff and recurrent budget of c. $200,000
  • Develop and coordinate assistance and grants programs for both art galleries and museums, including application processing. Grants to galleries and museums totalled $1.5M per annum.
  • Chair the Gallery Director’s Advisory Panel, the Arts/Tourism Working party reviewing transfer of programs from the Victorian Tourism Commission to the Ministry for the Arts.
  • Served on community museum boards, including Living Museum of the West Management Committee; Museum of Chinese-Australian History Management Committee; Museum Studies
  • Course Advisory Committee; Regional Galleries Association of Victoria (Govt. Observer), Ballarat Conservation Centre (Govt. Observer).
  • Researched and prepared preliminary drafts of the Guidelines for Victorian Museums, later published in 1990
  • Conducted Management Reviews of various museums and art galleries. Reports produced on Buda, and the Living Museum of the West
  • Reviewed museum accreditation schemes and funding programs
  • Secretary to the National Air and Space Museum Working Party
  • Provide advice and assistance on the formation of a range of the State’s 150th Celebration projects including the Children’s Museum, Museum of Chinese – Australian History and the Living Museum of the West.
  • Conducted a comprehensive two year survey of regional museums in Victoria writing a report Museums in Victoria, published in 1984. Included key policy recommendations which formed basis for future programming.
  • Secretary to Museums Advisory Board, 1984-85.
  • Initiation and development of the Museum Resource Service
  • Cataloguing Programme currently involving over 100 museums.
  • Research towards and preparation of Guidelines for Victorian Museums published eventually in 1989.
